ABOUT

Explore the world — 12 topics.

Clandestine Magazine is an independent publication dedicated to investigative journalism, the cultural zeitgeist and the ideas shaping our time.

We believe in rigorous reporting, thoughtful storytelling and publishing work that is both intellectually engaging and thought-provoking. Our pages bring together investigative features, long-form essays and distinctive voices from around the world.

We are not a conventional magazine. Our editorial landscape spans 12 topics —

Affairs — World Affairs, City, Environment, Philosophy, Politics and Progressive World

Culture — Art, Fashion, Film, Literature, Music and Technology.

Alongside our core editorial, we publish ‘Injustices’, examining global issues, overlooked stories and the realities that often escape the headlines. ‘Gonzo’ features immersive, first-hand reporting, offering deeply personal perspectives on people, places and experiences, while ‘Essays’ provides a home for considered long-form writing and original thought. Creativity is equally central to Clandestine, and through our ‘Your Art Here’ section, we offer emerging and established artists a place to showcase their work, celebrating originality and the creative voices that shape the creative disciplines of today.

Beyond publishing, we are committed to supporting charitable initiatives that help those facing hardship. Kindness, compassion and respect for others remain central to our ethos, shaping both our work and the community we continue to build. We work alongside registered charities and currently run two of our own initiatives — a community kitchen providing support for those in need, and a ‘Tap for the Homeless’ scheme, offering a simple way to provide essential assistance to people experiencing homelessness.

More than a magazine, Clandestine is a collective of curious minds, writers, artists and readers brought together by a shared desire to combat the unjust and an appreciation for thoughtful journalism and culture. While we take our work seriously, we believe the best ideas come from an open, collaborative and relaxed environment — one where creativity flourishes and diverse perspectives are welcomed.
